To ensure our environment is safe for learning and working, we employ a variety of methods to situations associated with illness.

The practice of Disinfecting classrooms, equipment and toys is implemented throughout each day.

  • All meals and snacks are prepared in a kitchen, away from classrooms.

  • USDA balanced meals are served. 

  • Rooms are equipped with checklists so teachers can ensure each room is clean and tidy.

  • All locations have a laundry room for efficient cleanliness and proper storage of cleaning products.

  • We’re serious about washing hands! We teach children to practice the importance of proper hand washing with soap and warm water, making cleanliness a part of the every day! Our teachers model this behavior by washing their hands throughout each day.
  • Our locations adhere to the highest standards of safety. From our Vans to the classrooms, and playgrounds. We have specific standards and procedures to ensure the safety and security of each child while in our care.

    • Our drivers maintain a Commercial Driver’s License and are certified in bus safety procedures 
    • Our specific procedure for daily student drop-off and pick-up ensures no child is left behind.

    • Our school administrators maintain updated files on authorized contacts in case of an illness or unforeseen emergency.

    • Our teachers ensure organized classrooms designed to maximize safety and supervision.

    • Our teachers are trained in Infant, Child and Adult CPR and First Aid.
    • Our doors are padded at the hinge so little fingers don’t get pinched when doors are opened and closed between classrooms.
    • Our method of maintaining health records, immunization records and emergency contacts ensures they are kept up to date and confidential.
    • Our food preparation and storage is monitored to ensure safe, nutritious meals along with sanitary food preparation surfaces.
    • We provide safety drill training every 30 days for tornado, fire, and hurricanes, as well as community supervised lockdowns.
